Tucked away at Woodend Mill is a rare survivor: an historic weaving shed with its distinctive saw-tooth roof and beautiful “northern light” windows, designed to flood the floor with even light so weavers could spot every flaw in the cloth.

It’s been silent for years. But not for much longer. Soon, it will hum again with making, learning and life.
